We knew going in that this show was going to be something special. We had also heard some great reviews of The Brooklyn Mirage. Both items lived up to the hype. Dance music pioneer, Kaskade, decided to create an experience for the release of his Redux EP 003. The EP, which can streamed below, features collaborations with UK duo Gorgon City, fellow producer Lokii, and many others.
This was my first time to The Brooklyn Mirage so we took a good amount of time exploring what I would consider a musical fortress. Each ticket holder can experience the show from the ground or on the second floor. The open-air sanctuary features thousands of real plants, a world renowned KV2 audio system, and 3D mapping visuals for the ultimate audio-visual experience. The stage felt like it was alive throughout the entire set. There was talk that this show would not contain builds or drops here. Saying Kaskade was going to take us, “back to the basics.” He did just that and we loved it.
